Food

Estimated food or refreshment costs should be accompanied by an estimate from Housing and Food Services or the outside caterer. Prices may be obtained via the housing and Food Services website at beavercampusliving.psu.edu/catering.

Performers
Performers include DJs, bands, comedians, magicians, and actors. Contracts must be approved and initiated through the Office of Student Activities upon funding.

The cost should for speaker/performance must include travel expenses, including airfare, hotel, car rentals, and meals.

Total cost divided by the number of students going on the trip.

Conference

Standard funding consideration guidelines:

  • Registration is on a per student basis.
  • No travel, no meals unless included in the registration fee.
  • Conference materials giving description of the conference are required (web pages, brochure, etc.).
  • Funding will be awarded based on a competitive process.
  • Consideration of lodging expenses would be to maximum use of rooms. The intent is to consolidate rooms for females and males who are attending.
