Nearly 90 percent of our students receive some sort of financial assistance. This assistance, determined primarily by need, is comprised of federal and state grants, student and parent loans, academic scholarships, and work study.
Penn State Beaver offers a growing number of baccalaureate degrees, minors, and certificates that can be completed here. Students who want to major in most of Penn State's other 275 majors can start at Beaver then transition to another campus for their last two years.

The city of Pittsburgh is a short, 40-minute drive from Penn State Beaver. Downtown shuttles are offered for resident students who want to explore the city, and the Student Activities Office plans group outings downtown throughout the academic year.
