2026 Exhibition
The date of the 25th annual John R. Chapin Undergraduate Exhibition will be held April 29, 2026 in the Student Union Building Lodge during Common Hour.
The exhibition is designed to highlight research, engaged scholarship, and creative activities of students. It showcases student presentations of in-depth, original, and scholarly work and research. Projects from all academic disciplines are welcome. Awards will be announced in each of the three categories.
Categories
Students may enter work in any of the three following categories. For details on each of the exhibition categories and to register your project, click on the links below:
Deadlines
The deadline for registration form submissions and faculty sponsor forms is 5 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026. Students should be aware that this deadline includes an accompanying faculty sponsorship form, which faculty cannot complete until the student's registration form is submitted. Waiting to submit the registration form until the deadline will make it impossible for your faculty sponsor to submit the sponsorship form on time and will disqualify your entry.
Posters can be printed by Student Affairs, but students must submit their file by 5 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2026. See Undergraduate Exhibition Posters for full details. Participants will receive one free copy of their poster and will be notified when submissions are ready for pickup in Student Affairs and Engagement (SUB 113). On the day of the event, any remaining posters will be transferred to the event location for pick up.
Information Literacy Award
Information Literacy Awards will be presented to the top presenters demonstrating an excellence in information literacy through either:
- Bibliography or literature review contributing to research in any field including the sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities, and arts
- Use of manuscript, archival, or other primary resources to conduct original research
