PE Civil Engineering Review CE 5511 (48 Hours)
Civil PE Review Course (Transportation and Construction Disciplines)
Effective April 2024, the NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying) has implemented new design specifications for the PE civil engineering exam. Moving forward, discipline specific exams will be administered in one of five specific discipline areas. This is a significant change from previous testing strategies. The new exam is designed to better assess the knowledge and skills required of civil engineers aligned with their practice in one of five civil engineering disciplines. The exam will be presented in a computer-based format, offering a more dynamic and efficient testing experience. Penn State Beaver's new course has been redesigned to align with the new exam specifications for the Transportation and Construction disciplines. This course provides a framework for aspiring civil engineers to become well-prepared and equipped with the necessary understanding and problem-solving abilities to excel in the examination and in their professional careers.
