SHRM Certification Prep+

As an approved education partner with SHRM, Penn State instructors combine expert instruction with the SHRM Certification Prep System to offer a comprehensive and effective way to prepare for success on the SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® exam. Students will:

SHRM-CP® and SHRM-SCP Eligibility Requirements

The SHRM-CP® and SHRM-SCP® certifications are built upon the SHRM Body or Applied Skills and Knowledge (SHRM BASK®), which is more than an exam outline. It defines the standards for knowledge, strategies and competencies required for effective HR professionals around the world. Eight behavioral competencies and 15 functional areas that every HR professional should know are included in this intense review.

  • $1,300 for NEPA & National SHRM members

SHRM Essentials of Human Resources

 The new SHRM Essentials of Human Resources program is a 12-hour comprehensive program designed to equip HR professionals with essential knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. 

Through real-world applications and scenarios, you will be introduced to fundamental HR topics to help you effectively approach the challenging HR-related situations that you face on the job.

Cancellations and refunds

Payment is due upon registration. Students may request a registration cancellation through the start date of the course. A $25 cancellation fee will apply. No refunds will be given for withdrawal requests after the course start date. The University reserves the right to cancel course selections. If the course is cancelled, the student will be issued a full refund.
