This SHRM certification course consists of 39 hours of classroom instruction, including a review prior to the new certification exam. In addition to the classroom experience, you will receive SHRM Learning System materials and access to online learning, legislative updates and practice tests.

SHRM Essentials of Human Resources

 The new SHRM Essentials of Human Resources program is a comprehensive program designed to equip HR professionals with essential knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. 

Through real-world applications and scenarios, you will be introduced to fundamental HR topics to help you effectively approach the challenging HR-related situations that you face on the job.

The New SHRM Essentials of HR covers the critical topics:

  • Time: Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  • Delivery: Online via Zoom
  • SHRM Course Fee: $600 includes materials.

This program offers a 12-month online license, allow students to access content anytime, anywhere, for a full year. Reminder that the product is online only - no print materials.

Cancellations and refunds

Payment is due upon registration. Students may request a registration cancellation through the start date of the course. A $25 cancellation fee will apply. No refunds will be given for withdrawal requests after the course start date. The University reserves the right to cancel course selections. If the course is cancelled, the student will be issued a full refund.
