Students living in Sproul Hall at University Park campus and Oak Hall at Penn State Altoona no longer wait to hear the spin cycle complete or dryer buzz. WashAlert sends email or text notifications to students when their load of laundry has finished washing or drying. The online tool reduces the number of times spent visiting the laundry facility to check for available machines or to see if a load is complete.
On Oct. 6 the Penn State Beaver community will come together to help kick off an ongoing University-wide initiative that brings students, faculty and staff together to show their commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment — respectful of everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, abilities, background, veteran’s status, political beliefs, and all the ways we differ.

The University is hosting a Town Hall from 3-5 p.m. Sept. 28 in the Pavilion Theatre at University Park. The meeting will be livestreamed for faculty and staff members at all Penn State campuses to view.
