Digital Format Exam

Penn State's SAT prep course teaches you techniques and strategies to help you do your best on the newly designed digital exam. By investing in SAT practice, you are making a commitment to your college, career, and life success. 

Instructors

Experienced instructors will guide students through:

  • Effective tips and strategies for each SAT section, including Reading and Writing, Language, and Math.
  • Practice with official SAT exams that simulate real test conditions to help measure improvement.
  • Weighing the pros and cons of guessing on questions.
  • Techniques to save time and answer questions more quickly and accurately.
  • Understanding the SAT scoring system and learning how to calculate scores.
  • Using online tools and practice problems from Khan Academy® and Bluebook to boost skills and confidence.

Spring Sections

Classes will be held in person at Penn State Beaver. Each section has nine hours of writing/reading instruction and nine hours of math instruction conveniently delivered prior to a national test date. 

Penn State Beaver January Section

  • Dates: Saturdays, January 18, 2025 - February 22, 2025 (Snow date March 1, 2025)
  • Time: 9:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
  • Cost: $319 textbook included
  • Location: Penn State Beaver
  • National Test Date: March 8, 2025 - must register separately and NOT included in price of prep course
  • Register: SAT Preparation January Start

Penn State Beaver March Section

  • Dates: Saturdays, March 15, 2025 - April 26, 2025 (No class April 19, 2025)
  • Time: 9:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
  • Cost: $319 textbook included
  • Location: Penn State Beaver
  • National Test Date: May 3, 2025 - must register separately and NOT included in price of prep course
  • Register: SAT Preparation March Start

Penn State Beaver April Section

  • Dates: Saturdays, April 26, 2025 - May 31, 2025
  • Time: 9:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
  • Cost: $319 textbook included
  • Location: Penn State Beaver
  • National Test Date: June 7, 2025 - must register separately and NOT included in price of prep course
  • Register: SAT Preparation April Start

Registration for the National SAT exam is not included in the SAT Review Course. You must register for the exam on the College Board website.

Cancellations and refunds

Payment is due upon registration. Students may request a registration cancellation through the start date of the course. A $25 cancellation fee will apply. No refunds will be given for withdrawal requests after the course start date. The University reserves the right to cancel course selections. If the course is cancelled, the student will be issued a full refund.
