Are all majors open to transfer students?
The majority of majors are available, but some aren't. Please contact us about specific major requirements.

How long does transferring take?
Once your application is complete, most reviews take 10-14 business days.
Do I have to go through orientation?
No. Penn State Beaver holds a separate information session for all transfer students prior to the start of the semester. Information will be provided to you before the event.
Does my GPA transfer?
Although you need to meet specific cumulative requirements for admission to Penn State, your Penn State GPA will be based only on your Penn State coursework.
How does Penn State evaluate transfer credits?
Penn State will review all courses with an earned grade of 'C' or better from an accredited institution. To see what will transfer, you can evaluate your transfer credits online.
