Acquire basic programming skills, create computer programs with loops and events, and write algorithms for everyday tasks. Using code.org, students will learn to collaborate with others in meaningful ways to investigate different problem-solving techniques; persist in the face of difficult tasks; and learn about Internet safety. This program also teaches important critical thinking skills necessary to gain a better understanding of computer science. More advanced students will study programming concepts, computational thinking, and digital citizenship, and develop interactive games or stories they can share.
