Break Travel Support
The Office of Residence Life offers transportation assistance for students during official Harmony Hall closing dates — including Fall Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break.
Before each break, residents will receive an email with instructions on how to request a ride to or from Pittsburgh International Airport and local transportation hubs such as Amtrak and Greyhound.
Important: Students must sign up in advance to receive assistance. All deadlines and details will be included in the sign-up email.
Please note that transportation is only available during official hall closing periods. Students traveling for personal reasons or for events not sponsored by the University are responsible for arranging their own travel.
Local Shuttle Service
When available the campus may offer a local shopping shuttle to nearby stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Shuttle dates, times, and destinations vary and are announced in advance. Sign-up is required, and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
