Penn State Beaver Professor Robin Bower's book “In the Doorway of All Worlds: Gonzalo de Berceo’s Translation of the Saints” has been published by the University of Toronto Press. Bower also served as a volume editor for “A Companion to Mester de Clericia Poetry,” part of the peer-reviewed handbook series called Brill’s Companions to Medieval Literatures and Culture will be published later this summer.

The Penn State Beaver community is remembering the late John Chapin, who has been granted posthumous emeritus status. A memorial service was held on campus on Friday, April 12, for Chapin, a longtime professor of communications, who died in March.
