Penn State Beaver professor publishes works on medieval Spanish poetry

Penn State Beaver Professor Robin Bower's book “In the Doorway of All Worlds: Gonzalo de Berceo’s Translation of the Saints” has been published by the University of Toronto Press. Bower also served as a volume editor for “A Companion to Mester de Clericia Poetry,” part of the peer-reviewed handbook series called Brill’s Companions to Medieval Literatures and Culture will be published later this summer.

East Palestine train derailment topic of special event hosted by Penn State Beaver

"The Current in the Community: Lessons from the East Palestine Train Derailment" will be held April 13 in The Baby Bello, 2200 Ninth Ave., in Beaver Falls. The event will feature an art gallery, documentary short film and a panel discussion that seeks to both honor those impacted by the February 2023 train derailment in Ohio and highlight what this environmental disaster means for the future of the region.
