Beaver will begin its Experiential Digital Global Engagement program in spring 2018 when it partners with faculty and students from the University of Split in Croatia.
This spring, Penn State Beaver Continuing Education will offer a Certified Recovery Specialist Training program as part of its curriculum. Research has shown that peer recovery support services not only help addicts remain engaged in the recovery process, but also reduce the likelihood of relapse.
Stand for State will host an event, “All That WE ARE,” at Penn State campuses between Jan. 15 and 30. Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate.
Global Programs' fall 2017 travel grants have been awarded in three grant categories: Faculty Travel Grants, Transformational Travel Grants, and Graduate Student Travel Grants. Based on the review committees’ evaluations and recommendations, 30 applicants were selected for funding support. The awardees will travel to 19 countries on four continents.
