How to apply to Penn State

Admission information

No matter who you are, Penn State Beaver Admissions counselors are here to help answer all your questions and assist you throughout the application process.

First-year students enjoy Penn State’s world-renowned reputation while becoming engaged in Beaver’s campus of about 700 students.

Transfer students are those who have obtained their high school diploma or equivalent and who have attempted 18 or more credits at another accredited college or university.

International students are students who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents and who require any form of visa to attend Penn State.

Adult learners are students who are 24 years old or older, have been out of high school for four or more years, have children, are active-duty service members, or are military veterans.

Veterans can be either first-year students or transfers. In either case, veterans will find that Penn State Beaver is a military-friendly campus.

High school dual enrollment students are high school juniors or seniors who are interested in taking college courses for credit.
