Plan to visit Penn State Beaver during our Athletics Spirit Weekend, January 30-31, 2026 to meet coaches and players and find out about our outstanding athletic and academic programs. This is a great opportunity to learn what it’s like to be a student-athlete at Penn State Beaver.
What to Expect
Friday, January 30: Kick off the weekend by meeting our coaches, chatting with faculty about academics, and enjoying a complimentary dinner. Afterward, join our student-athletes for a lively game night.
Saturday, January 31: Attend presentations covering athletics, admissions next steps, on-campus housing, and financial aid. After lunch, enjoy VIP seating at our women’s and men’s basketball games. Wrap up the day with our annual Athletics Awards and Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony.

This free, two-day program is open to you and your family. Student-athletes must register by Monday, January 19. Space fills quickly, so early registration is highly recommended.

Note: Meals, events, and programs are free for prospective student-athletes and their immediate families. Penn State Beaver is unable to reimburse for any transportation expenses to the event, including travel between the host hotel and the campus.

The Hilton Garden Inn, which is less than a mile from campus, is the preferred hotel for Penn State Beaver Athletics Spirit Weekend. To make a reservation, call the hotel directly at 724-728-2070 and ask for the Penn State rate.
