Creative writing students at Penn State Beaver will give a live poetry performance at 6 p.m. April 15. Through "Create for a Cause" the students are seeking donations to help patients who are undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
Scott Noxon, a Penn State alumnus who spent two years at the Beaver campus, has a lengthy history of philanthropy. Continuing his legacy, Noxon has just established the Scott Noxon LGBTQA Scholarship for students at Penn State Beaver. The scholarship is the first of its kind at a Commonwealth campus.
Penn State alumnus Scott Noxon has created a new scholarship to assist students who advocate for, or contribute to, the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally (LGBTQA) community.
