After a unanimous vote on Dec. 9 by the Penn State Board of Trustees to appoint Neeli Bendapudi the University's 19th president, Bendapudi thanked the board, campus leaders and others during her introduction to the Penn State community.

Jen Silverman's play "Bonnets" will be performed at Penn State Beaver. The performance, by Penn State Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting students, will take place at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 in the campus auditorium.

Penn State Beaver thanks the veterans who are part of our campus community. There will be a special table from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Nov. 11 in the Bistro with information about the branches of the service. A local veteran who served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War will also be there to talk to people.
