Penn State Beaver is entering its 20th year of offering continuing education classes for certified public accountants and attorneys. The next series of classes begins April 22.
Robert Morehead, associate teaching professor of astronomy and astrophysics in the Eberly College of Science; and Gretchen Samchuck, academic affairs advising coordinator and advising programs manager in the Division of Undergraduate Studies at Penn State Beaver, have been selected to receive the 2025 Penn State Excellence in Advising Award.
First-year student Manan Jain uses a Meta headset to try the Liminal Virtual Reality experience. The virtual reality headset is in the Center for Academic Achievement and is available for use by all Penn State Beaver students.
The sensory room in the Center for Academic Achievement at Penn State Beaver has become an oasis for students on campus. Now, thanks to a gift from the JP Recovery Foundation, students can access another tool to help with relaxation, a Meta headset and Liminal Virtual Reality experience.
