Penn State Beaver students plan to 'Create for a Cause'

Students from a creative writing class at Penn State Beaver will give a performance of original poetry at the first ever “Create for Cause” event April 15. Those who attend are asked to bring items to donate for patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments at Allegheny Health Network’s new Cancer Institute in Center Township.

Scott Noxon, a Penn State alumnus who spent two years at the Beaver campus, has a lengthy history of philanthropy. Continuing his legacy, Noxon has just established the Scott Noxon LGBTQA Scholarship for students at Penn State Beaver. The scholarship is the first of its kind at a Commonwealth campus.
