A delegation from three Pittsburgh-area Penn State campuses - including Beaver - will visit two universities in Europe this summer to foster global partnerships and expand the EDGE program.

The EDGE program connects Penn State Beaver classes with classes around the world through the use of technology. Known as “virtual international exchange,” EDGE affords its participants the opportunity for global thinking and collaboration, particularly among place-bound and less-resourced students.
This month, while studying abroad in France, Beaver student Sydney Jean splashed in a freezing ocean, went on a quest for bubble tea and visited the place she believes "every American has to see within their lifetime" - the American Cemetery in Normandy.
