Dr. Elizabeth Zona, a Penn State graduate, will present “Beyond the Buzz: Understanding Alcohol’s Impact on Students” Oct. 16 in the Penn State Beaver Auditorium.
Dr. Elizabeth Zona will present “Beyond the Buzz: Understanding Alcohol’s Impact on Students” at 6 p.m. Oct. 16 in the Penn State Beaver Auditorium. Zona, a 2002 Penn State graduate, is a double board-certified physician, specializing in both anesthesiologist and addiction medicine. Her appearance is part of an ongoing program funded through the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s Reducing Underage Drinking and Dangerous Drinking Grant.
A draft proposal of Penn State’s institutional strategic plan has been unveiled and shared with the community for feedback and discussion. All faculty, staff and students at all campuses are encouraged to visit the Strategic Plan website to review and provide feedback on the draft plans for four goal areas.
Sixteen recent graduates were selected by the Penn State Alumni Association as Young Alumni Ambassadors for the 2024-25 academic year. August 2024, December 2024 and May 2025 graduates are encouraged to apply for the 2025-26 class of ambassadors when applications become available.
