Communications

The Bachelor of Arts in Communications degree teaches students how to deliver the right message, at the right time, to the right audience. The campus offers two degree options: Digital Journalism and Corporate Communications. Both options require students to develop strong written, verbal and digital skills.

The degree also draws from appropriate courses in the disciplines of information sciences and technology, arts and sciences, English, and business, so our students are well-rounded and ready to start their careers. Plus, they have opportunities to hone their skills outside the classroom, including writing for the campus newspaper and working at the campus radio station.

Graduates of the Communications program find an array of career opportunities in institutional communications, media, publishing and corporate communications. These opportunities offer a wide range of career paths and possibilities for advancement.
