Senior Taylor Sweeney, a Stand for State student ambassador, organized stickers Jan. 14 that will be shipped to campuses in preparation for the launch of Stand for State. University Park’s launch is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, in the HUB-Robeson Center.

Penn State York held a candlelight vigil in 2014-15 to increase awareness of child sexual abuse. The fourth annual vigil, in November 2014, was sponsored by the Penn State York Council on Family Relations Club and the Student Veterans Association.

Penn State Beaver alum Josh Hogenmiller is the co-founder of Totally Baked Powder Coating. He started the business before he graduated.

Hogenmiller places a powder coated dirt bike frame into a 400 degree oven to cure. The process takes a deft hand to do right, but the result is more durable than paint.

"He's a doer. He's good at his craft," Penn State Beaver Business Instructor Dan Smith said of Hogenmiller.
