Students collect record number of pet food cans

When business instructor Neil Fogarty assigned his students to collect food for the Beaver County Humane Society, he hoped they would bring in at least as much as his class last year did. Then things got competitive, and in the end, they more than doubled the amount donate in 2017.

Provost Nick Jones and Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses Madlyn Hanes joined Penn State Beaver faculty and students to officially open the campus high tunnel. The tunnel is funded by a Penn State seed grant.

Provost, VP for Commonwealth Campuses officially open Beaver high tunnel

Provost Nick Jones and Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses Madlyn Hanes joined Penn State Beaver faculty and students to officially open the campus high tunnel. The tunnel, which was funded by a University seed grant, will support Beaver's campus-supported agriculture subscriptions and the local Salvation Army food bank.
