University awards $200,000 in Invent Penn State seed grants to four campuses

Penn State announced $200,000 in new seed grant funding as part of the University's Invent Penn State Initiative. The four campuses receiving grants — Beaver, DuBois, Greater Allegheny and Hazleton — bring to 21 the number of Innovation Hubs across the Commonwealth.

Penn State’s NSF I-Corps program seeks applications by Sept. 15 and Oct. 15

The National Science Foundation has joined in supporting Penn State’s goal of taking more of its discoveries to market by awarding Penn State a five-year, $500,000 Innovation Corps (I-Corps) grant to establish the Invent Penn State I-Corps Site in collaboration with Ben Franklin Technology Partner’s TechCelerator, Happy Valley LaunchBox, and Invent Penn State’s Innovation Hubs.

Penn State faculty hone teaching skills at annual entrepreneurship retreat

More than 40 faculty and staff members from eight colleges and four campuses came together Aug. 16-17 at University Park for the fourth annual ENTI Minor Faculty and Friends Summer Gathering. ENTI is Penn State’s Intercollege Minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
