Provost, VP for Commonwealth Campuses officially open Beaver high tunnel

Provost Nick Jones and Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses Madlyn Hanes joined Penn State Beaver faculty and students to officially open the campus high tunnel. The tunnel, which was funded by a University seed grant, will support Beaver's campus-supported agriculture subscriptions and the local Salvation Army food bank.

Penn State Beaver recently received part of a University seed grant that develops learning opportunities around sustainable food and agriculture. Among the initiatives are a campus garden, community-supported agriculture and — coming soon — a high tunnel.

Fixing the food crisis
