About the instructor
Amy Fazio has been helping nonprofit professionals advance their missions through the power of community building for more than 25 years.
Community building and engagement are the foundation of her signature method, the Magnify your Mission System to help nonprofit pros create a path and process to sustainable and stress-free fundraising. Amy believes the power of community as the catalyst to achieve epic results and big change.
Amy is a nonprofit growth consultant, speaker, elected school board member, previous candidate for PA state house, and instructor of Civic & Community Engagement at Penn State Beaver.
Fueled by her passion for community organizing, Amy received her master’s in political science studying social movements & exploring how people and communities create the change they want to see. While serving as CEO of a national trade association, Amy and the team achieved unprecedented success by using her community-building model to engage and galvanize members. In 2018 she used these same principles as a candidate for Pennsylvania State Office to mobilize a record number of voters.
Community building and fundraising are all about bringing people together around things they care about to exercise their power and make BIG CHANGE HAPPEN. More than a mission, it’s a movement.
