Spring break in Europe

Want to go to Amsterdam and France in the spring? Students who enroll in MKTG 297, Marketing in Amsterdam and France as Compared to America, will have that opportunity in March.

The course, taught by Assistant Teaching Professor of Business Daniel Smith and Professor of Marketing Talha Harcar, has no prerequisites and is open to all majors.

Travel details

Travel dates: March 1-10.

Total cost is $1355 and includes flight, local transportation, lodging, and entry fees to various cultural institutions. 

Flight: $725

Entry fees: $300

Local transportation: $280

Lodging: $850

Subtotal: $2155

Academic Affairs/Development Grant: $400 for Beaver students

CC Group Travel Grand: $400 for Commonwealth Campus students

Total: $1355

All meals are at the expense of students.

Enroll

Beaver students may enroll in the class if space is available. Students from other Penn State campuses should contact Beaver Registrar Rachel Zughaib, rlm5046@psu.edu, to enroll.

Passports

  • U.S. students who do not currently hold passports should apply for one immediately.
  • International students will need to determine if they require a visa for travel to the Netherlands and France.
