Penn State Beaver police are full-time, professional University police officers who are on campus 24 hours a day year round. The department's primary goal is to ensure the safety of all campus community members. Below you'll find some of the nonemergency services and programs provided by University Police.
Escort service
For students, staff, and faculty working late on campus, campus police can escort you to vehicles and campus residences. An officer will be glad to ensure that you arrive safely at your on-campus destination.
Medical assistance
All Beaver campus police officers are certified in first aid for medical emergencies.
Vehicle assistance
If your locks are frozen, you lock your keys in your vehicle, or you need a jump start, our campus police officers will be happy to help you.
Operation Identification
University Police encourage all students to mark their valuable equipment with their driver's license number to aid in preventing theft as well as assisting in the recovery of lost or stolen items.
Students may borrow an electric engraver from University Police by visiting the Police Services Building located next to the lower parking lot of the Student Union Building. In addition, at the beginning of the fall semester, a police officer may be be stationed in the Harmony Hall lobby from time to time to assist students who choose to engrave personal items.
