Beaver baseball wins PSUAC championship

MONACA, Pa. — Penn State Beaver baseball defeated Penn State Schuylkill 18-4 on Sunday to claim the Penn State University Athletic Conference championship.

Beaver, which came into the conference tournament as the No. 5 seed, squeaked by Penn State Brandywine on Friday and defeated Penn State DuBois and Schuylkill on Saturday before winning the title.

The victory also earned Beaver the at-large bid to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament in Glens Falls, New York. The team will play Wright State Lake Campus at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 9.
