Biography
Dr. Michael Hay received his B.S. from Bowling Green State University in 1990 and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1995 and 1998, respectively. After two years as a visiting assistant professor at Davidson College, he joined the faculty at Penn State Beaver in the fall of 1999. Professor Hay's research interests are in the field of synthetic inorganic chemistry and chemical pedagogy. At Penn State Beaver, he teaches the general chemistry lectures and laboratories, a chemistry course for non-science majors, and conducts undergraduate research.
