Zughaib named 2023 Staff Excellence Award winner

Rachel Zughaib, registrar at Penn State Beaver, has been named the 2023 Staff Excellence Award winner. The award recognizes the consistently outstanding performance of a staff member who has demonstrated and practiced the philosophy of continuous quality improvement, team spirit, managerial excellence in the performance of assigned duties, and leadership in establishing a quality service orientation, so as to benefit their unit and the University.

Comic-Con showcases student art

Kristin Oberg, an English instructor at Penn State Beaver, hosted the fifth annual Comic-Con event on campus to showcase the work of her women's studies students and to raise money for a local non-profit.

Women in Criminal Justice

A panel of women working in the criminal justice and law fields spoke to an audience about Penn State Beaver about their career experiences. The event was organized by Jodi Gill, a lecturer in criminal justice, and the Penn State Beaver Criminal Justice Club.
