Penn State Beaver is Gold Winner for Readers’ Choice Awards
Penn State Beaver has been chosen as the 2012 Gold Winner in the College/University division of The Times’ Best of the Valley Readers Choice Awards.
“We’re honored that The Times’ readers continue to recognize the quality education and experiences that Beaver campus offers,” said Amy M. Krebs, director of campus and community relations. "We’re proud of the fact that we have such a strong bond with our students, our readers, and our community.”
Beaver’s enrollment for the 2011-2012 academic year was 870. The campus offers baccalaureate degrees in administration of justice; business; communications; psychology, and information sciences and technology. Beaver also hosts an R.N. to B.S. nursing degree completion program offered by Penn State Shenango and a master’s degree in education in teaching and curriculum offered by Penn State Harrisburg.
In addition, the campus offers associate degrees in business administration; information sciences and technology, and letters, arts, and sciences as well as minors in business; civic and community engagement; information sciences and technology; psychology, and security and risk analysis.
